How to Create Photorealistic Images Using Realistic Stock Photo and RealVis XL. Hello everyone! I decided to do more indepth style videos on the new recently released filters for SDXL. Moving forward I'd like show you some of the strengths of these filters and how to get the most out of them.
Consider this a mini tutorial on getting photorealistic images with prompting and using the SDXL 1.0 filters.

Prompts used in the video
Simple: "Close up portrait of a beautiful woman"
Example prompts: "[enter modifier] close up portrait beautiful woman, high details, best quality, diffused lighting, film grain, dslr
Example 2: "analog film, polaroid, close up portrait beautiful woman, high details, best quality, diffused lighting, film grain, dslr
Negative prompts (you can add more if you want) ugly, deformed, 2d, 3d, drawing, sketch, painting, cgi

Realvis is awesome, but I'm not sure if it's going to be my favorite over Copax Timeless. Realvis seems to be at least equally versatile as Copax though. Thumbs up for breaking these "tutorials" up in to a one on one comparison - way better to concentrate on before going on to the next filters. Better use of an under 10 minutes clip 🙂

These new filters are absolutely amazing. This is a serious improvement. My favorite so far has been Protovision. It is very convenient, especially when working image to image. But new filters open up new possibilities.

Great presentation. Are stock photos, photo shopped at all, or what is the process they go through if any?

Depends on the stock site it’s a mix of raw photos or slightly processed. Each site has their own requirements and standards.

This is fab stuff - ive been using playground a while and not seen images as good as those u showed generated they mainly come out looking like a game asset or a shop mannequinne - I look forward to try but right now the playground website keeps saying too many users and come back later im guessing ur video sparked additional users!

Glad it was helpful, you can build the prompt more for other looks, photography terms can work well too. I like to use simple prompts and 1 or 2 main words to see what they do. Lot's of trial and error but you'd be surprised what you can discover. 👍 As for the traffic, must've been a peak time, happens every now and then.

Great video,but there's seems to be some bug now when you try to make images on phones,it says a unknown error ocurred,actually generate the images but only if you go to your profile to see them

This is such a great filter, however unfortunately I got very frustrated with it. This filter has way too tight trigger finger for a safety filter, as I try to create an image to image picture with a male character who doesn't have shirt on (purposely so which is more for artistic purposes) and I don't consider it as an adult content at all, not in a way that it should to be taken as, and it just doesn't allow me to create the image as I want, or just doesn't work at all because of the safety filter is triggered. It's very frustrating, even though when I try to work around with proper prompt. I wonder if because it's a new filter, so it migh have some bugs in it?

We are working on the filter, we released an updated version and there are some false negatives we're catching. Feel free to send [e-mail] and email a screen shot of your settings and prompt to help us see what the issue is. We will need some time to tweak the new filter.

Hello. Why don't the old prompts work anymore? Suddenly what used to create spectacular images now only creates garbage. I've tried many remixes of my own images (a common way to start a session) and nothing works. The results remind me of those of S.D. 1.5. when you did not use negatives, and also when you exceeded PG and incomplete or distorted images appeared. A disappointment. A huge step back.

Can't say without seeing your settings. Make sure you are not using the refiner too high if using SDXL (no filter) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJ7PZZWaqceCntksi=P2tdg-9fBcOAD8XC If you are remixing older images it might be best to start from scratch and just copy and paste the same info. With the new refiner the backend is set up a bit differently so remixing images before the change can result in strange results.

@@playgroundai Yes, exactly. I found the problem. The image is created with a refiner value of 40 even if it is with "Copax" or Dreamshaper". The image created tells me this. The solution I found was to select "Filter none" and manually set the refiner value to 0, and again select the desired filter. Thank you!

@@playgroundai Thanks to you for showing me the way. I think we discovered a small bug. By default the refiner is set to 40 even if it is a remix of an image with a filter that does not support it and in theory it is set to 0.

It is not hard at all to get portrait style photorealism, the real challenge is in full body or even half. Also specific positions like laying, side view, seating or grabbing a specific. Your video is not very useful

Perhaps you should watch the playlist on prompting to get a full understanding, this video as more about the style of photorealism and not the composition. Context is everything when it comes to those things, whether it be mentioning half body, waist up, full body you can also mention clothing and actions in your prompt for the AI to know what you want.
