One of your best videos so far IMHO. My rhythm feel totally sucks and in these examples the rhythm either sounded straight or I didn't recognise it at all. I love those fancy modern notations but I have to wonder whether they are supposed to represent the music accurately or just give a rough idea. For example one had a distinctive large wave shape in it. That could describe a very particular pitch or volume fluctuation or sound but it could also mean "play something wavey here".

Thanks, my friend! In 20th century notations it depends, really :) Usually things are to be taken accurately, but in case of Penderecki of course ,things are getting more deliberate and suggestive, as graphic notation tends to communicate the gesture better than an exact trad. rhythmic notation. So, actually as a composer you would choose the right form of notation based on what you want to convey to your performers (!) and audience.
