Hi Nelca, thank you so much for all the knowledge you are sharing with us! I wanted to ask if you know how to create copies of a building in the same dialux evo file in case for example you want to check different options in the lighting design with different luminaires per option (just like the 'duplicate scene' feature on Relux). What I normally do to check different options on evo, is to create new files for each option. Any thoughts? Thanking you in advance!

yes. just copy the whole building in the site tab. now u will have 2 buildings in the site. then u can compare.

hello Nelca.thanks for all videos.I have one question.can i create a room using Autocad file in Dialux evo but with out crating a building boundary. i just want to calculate a few rooms in a big building (ofcourse with doors and windows) . i am a Relux user and in Relux we just drawing a room boundery to calculate. please help me.

yes its possible. when u open the dialux evo, choose the "empty room" instead the bldg planning.

thanx for your help Nelca. but with this option i can not draw a room from DWG file. just if i draw a Building boundary. in my case the building it very big and that will take a long time to draw it .please Nelca this is very important for me. i need to darw a rooms using DWG file but with out drawing the Building or the storey.

Is this option u are talking about available in Relux? if so, then use Relux becuase I dont think there is short cut like u are talking about. If in case there is, please let me know. I want to learn from u also. Thanks!

ja this Option in Relux available.u can draw a one room using DWG file .with out Drawing the building contour or the storey.Relux is faster but i lerning about useing Dialux. thank u for ur antention and sorry for my bad englisch
