Can we have a script for complete VM which include data disks as well.
@omuntАй бұрын
is it possible to have the script take a snapshot of all disks of a VM? so not just from os disk

I allready made the script :-)

Is there reason for taking snapshot of data disk as well?
@omunt24 күн бұрын
@@AComputerGuru yes, we would like to snapshot the complete VM (just like with Vmware). If we need to roll back, we need to do this with the complete vm.

Hi, Can these runbooks or snapshots only be executed if the VM is stopped or can they be scheduled while the VM is active?
@AComputerGuru11 ай бұрын
Yes it can be done in both states.

Do you need to update the script every time you deploy additional VMs? I want to make it so that it creates a snapshot for all existing VMs in the subscription. Is that possible?
@AComputerGuru9 ай бұрын
Yes, in this script i have manually given the VMs details. so if there is no change in the VMs list then no need to make any changes in the script.

@@AComputerGuru how can I make it so that it doesn't need to be updated every time I add new VMs?
