+Fred Stanvic yes sir. I hope you consider the contest or at least investigate the program to make your own custom icon fonts.

when sending an svg file to a friend and that friend opened the file in corel draw. Does the original font used on the svg file change? does the friend need to download the font used in the svg file on his computer?
@bcraftmath3 жыл бұрын
I believe so, unless you converted the font object itself to a curve.

Hey Brandon, is there any online font icon maker you know of? I basically need to convert a Nike logo png to font icon or maybe ttf. My PC is broken so need online help.
@bcraftmath5 жыл бұрын
Not to my knowledge.... you can create a nike svg quickly though and then use that on Inkscape. Infinite Painter for example for android allows you to create vector graphics on your mobile device. That is probably the best approach instead of using a png.

@@bcraftmath Thanks Brandon. I converted the png to SVG then converted the SVG into font icon at icomoon. Btw, I had tagged you in my post at Reddit for the asymmetric theme I had made 🙂

Hi Brandon, How can I convert particular svg logo size as a fixed font size?
@bcraftmath6 жыл бұрын
I don't think you can convert to a fixed font size, because when you actually install the font, you have the option to change the font size in whatever program are you using.

Can you also save in OTF. Format?
@bcraftmath6 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. icomoon.io/faq.html didn't mention anything about .otf

I loved this tutorial! Thank you so much. Quick question though... my logo has a gradient and it says it can’t support gradients or more than 1 color. Any tips on this? :( I’m desperate.

That's a very good question and I haven't tried myself but this may help????.... stackoverflow.com/questions/33371715/create-multicolor-icons-icomoon

When i upload my svg to icomoon and then go to download the font it says that i have more than 1 glyph even though i have only selected one icon. this means that it has to assign the icon to more than one character in the font. what am i doing wrong?
@bcraftmath6 жыл бұрын
When you select the icon and go to font, how many glyphs are there before you download!
@markinman68996 жыл бұрын
Brandon Craft it says there are 3 glyphs.. in my svg i have 3 paths.. im guessing those correlate somehow? I didnt notice you doing any trickery in your video about this as you have about 4 different path objects in your inkscape page.
@bcraftmath6 жыл бұрын
Nullsage Make sure all of the colors are black and you can also try selecting everything in your canvas and under Path, select stroke to path.
