Bruh every good Shotty gets nerfed, I mean every gun in general gets nerfed. This community is highly hypocritical. They took about how OP the ACR, Intervention, Spas 12, Scorpions, Models etc etc are and how much fun they were. But they minute we get weapons like that... everybody's calling for a Nerf Hammer

Shotguns and LMGs are the pariah guns. Both are almost always nerfed into uselessness, because the sweats, streamers and their support base want OP SMGs, ARs and Sniper Rifles. They have the biggest voice and the Devs listen to them. Shotties & LMGs both get weakened and huge negatives so SMGs can dominate 0-20m, ARs can dominate in any other range until over 70m then snipers/marksman are king.

I really hope they reconsider how they approached this shotgun in the main build of the game. This game is FAST- you really need at enemies knees to do well with it and by the time you get that close you are mowed down by an SMG. Especially considering the adjustments to the up close aim assist. They have talked about how they want you to feel like and action hero in this game, the shotguns NEED to be brought up to that level!

Man, it gonna be weird without tac stance (without needing a laser). Easily one of the best things that helped shotguns in MWIII.

I remember the model 680 having a 29m one shot when built out - I'd like to see the one shot range about doubled, especially with such a slow fire rate.

14-ish meters? On one hand, it’d circumvent the overall slower TTK, but on the other, the maps are wide open anyway.

the slugs do have a use. If they are in the one shot range for pellets you will get a one shot kill no matter where you hit them making it more consistent. I moved over to slugs until tac-stance.

No wonder the sprint out time felt bad. Slower than ARs, Oof. I get that people get annoyed at getting one shot at range by a shotgun. But the shotguns should be Mobil AF to compensate, instead of wannabes LMGs (handling wise).

This shotgun is just bad to garbage in this state. Too slow in handling, too slow in RoF, not really a long range, too big of a hip-fire spread and at least with M&K, is hard to aim correctly without a red dot sight (or at least I've been way more consistent with the 1 shot kills with a red dot). It's just too unforgiving for how little advantage it gives you, it's not fun unless you are on a crammed space and the enemies come one by one, otherwise you are better off picking a sub machine or almost even the bolt sniper, which surprisingly is good for quickscoping. Especially egregious seeing how other weapons shine with omni-movement. They could at least increase the pellet count to make it more consistent; hip firing against players twitching around with omni-movement leads to a lot of missing pellets :/

the pellet count is already 8, thats good enough. the issue is as you said, a simple fix would be to reduce the aggressive hipfire spread when using omni movement, and ofcourse increasing sprint to fire speeds of the shotgun

Shotguns are feeling as useless as in all Treyarch games again. Getting 4m "Longshots" is a bad sign. And all maps are too open to survive in. MW 2019 is truly a bygone era of any viability when guns like the Jackal exist.

I hope you can level the guns in zombies to get attachments that are usable for multiplayer like in Cold War. Also, does Modified Choke aid in reducing ADS spread for slugs, assuming slugs have ADS spread?

Shotguns aren't allowed to be good in slower TTK cod games, yet there's a literal PDW that outguns ARs and LMGs at long range. Make it make sense.

I really wish this gun had a damage minium. Their should never be a range where 5 and 6 hitmarkers doesn't result in a kill.

For me it's the only fun gun in the game. After I moved on to conventional bullet firearms I got bored of the game. This shotgun is hard to use but very rewarding unlike those

They can keep it as is but make the sprint out speed nearly instant. Whats the point of a shotgun if you can't rush with it.

The problem i have with the shotty is i cant jump and shoot and the STF feels so bad that i domt even think you can go from a sprint to shooting Oh and if you move anyway but forward yoy cant shoot either

@RedS0L0 yea its rough with the stf and how not many attachments help it. Try the laser that improves hipfire to ads accuracy, it's actually pretty nice for jumping if you're accurate

Using these on mouse and keyboard feels so dreadful because you sprint while strafing without pressing the shift button automatically a lot of times.

At this point I think they are adjusting shit for each individual player because I use slugs and it feels better and more consistent than without the slugs

really? i dont think ive ever gotten a one shot kill with the slugs to the body, only headshots. it might be a range value being bugged out or something, but i guess ill give it a shot today and see how it goes

@@dscopefr yeah I will not ever get one shot kills without slugs but when I run them I get them consistently I’ve literally shot someone 3 times without slugs and didn’t get the kill and I was definitely in range for a one shot maybe it’s broken entirely or something it’s a beta everything could be broken

This gun is awful to level up. In 4 hours I'm up to weapon level 10. It kills nothing, sprint to fire is 5 business days, 1 shot is extremely inconsistent. Like WHY DO HHEY HATE SHOTGUNS SO MUCH

This gun is so OBJECTIVELY bad at in all metrics exept sitting in a corner waiting for someone. Is extremly slow mobility, extremely slow RPM, extremely slow sprint to fire, extrenely wide pellet spread, extremely wide ads spread. Every other gun frels competitive if not really good as a base gun with no attachment. They wont feel extra nice like with attachment but if i had to run AK, XM4, JACKLA or C9 with no attachment i would not feel substantially disadvantaged. With this gun its brutal. Feels absolute horrible and useless except when at LEVEL 36 FULLY MODDED and then it feels...JUST OKAY. honestly if nothing changes from now to launch i genuinly wont play with shotguns or atleast this one. You feel so objectively dissadvantaged in all BUT the most niche and campy situations, even general CQB.
