I have used it for a few years now, Originally came from sony vegas but the switch over to Davinci has been so good. It also has a free version that lets you do pretty much everything you need to do.

I am trying to record a first person driving scene but when I "attach" the camera to a surface when I move my mouse the camera will rotate around the object I am attached to but I don't want it to move like that because I want to move my camera as if its a person turning there head do you know anything I could do to keep the camera attached without the camera only rotating around the object I am attached to?

Alt + Tab ofcourse swaps to other applications. How to fix that?

You have to press them separately. First alt to hide cursor and then tab to hide UI. There is likely a bind out there that can change it if you would like.

I'm not really understanding the .dem files. i record myself in debug when I open the .dem file I am viewing my normal body and other players around me. plus I don't know how I would convert a .dem file to mp4. can someone please help

You can't convert the .dem files. If you want to record the gameplay you will need software like OBS or shadowplay to capture your screen. When you record a .dem file you will have to go into the demo UI and press play. Once you're in the world you can record your screen and get the desired shots.
