Thank u! I am a student where we only learn the theory but never got to practice it hands on. This definitely gets me of out the dark

This video was invaluable to me. Thank you so much, Brian. So it appears that I have 3 ribs disconnected from the costal cartilage and yet I can't seem to get any help from doctors because everything is so compartmentalized. 22 months of this and I don't have any energy left - not to mention the pain. I keep getting bounced around but meanwhile, the answer to the problem is in my cartilage. If only they image it themselves already. Regardless, this video was the catalyst that revealed my issue. Now if only I can get the proper medical attention I need already. But I seem to be stuck at an impasse and don't know how to proceed from here. Hopefully they fix me soon because I can not endure another 9 months of this. It's been the most brutal 22 months of my life. At least now I have the proof and know what's going on. Thank you again, Brian!

How could I become a 3D specialist? Is there a school program or something that would make me more qualified towards work?

Considering most people are on Windows, a demo of 3DSlicer would have been helpful. Is there any example of using 3DSlicer? I've tried it with volume rendering but it doesn't work (nothing is showing in the 3D view).

Wanting to start doing radiography, going to take the steps to go to school for it, im currently a 3D digital artist so the potential for these sort of technologies excites me. Would you say that radiographers are interesting in having rad techs do this for them? Would love to incorporate this sort of thing into what I do once I eventually make my way into doing CT stuff down the line.

What do you do if some weirdo asks for a CT scan and afterwards wants to play around with the software to tweak it just so he can post some cool skull pictures on Halloween?

He's using Horus. I highly recommend it. And it's free. Plus, Horus seems to be an exact carbon copy of OsiriX, which is already very powerful. I can't tell any difference between Horus and OsiriX, which you have to pay for. I'm not sure if Horus is available on Windows, though. It is for Macintosh, which is what he's using in this video and it's what I used to image my cartilage. But definitely check out Horus if you can.
