Im gonna have to try this. I've made one beanie and im almost finished with another but I've used hdc blo and no slip stitches. i dont like the way it bunches up at the top. Didnt know you could just slip stitch a few and it forms it for you! Thank you!

If you don't mind my asking, how much yarn does this project need? I didn't see it listed with the supplies at the beginning

it took 86.5 grams of yarn! so less than a skein of the impeccable yarn that is 100g or 187 yards!
