This is beautiful and I love all the straight edge tutorials. You don’t need a border if you don’t want to make one.

That is such a beautiful stitch that can be incorporated into almost anything we can think of. I’m loving it. Looks difficult until the teacher’s explanation was crystal clear. Great tutorial as always Crystal, you’re truly the Best teacher on these YT streets. The Bob Ross of crochet art.

Oh my another great stitch with serious definition. "Dont let a piece of string defeat you." Im going to say that to my kids, too. That comment carries so much weight and not just eith learning new stitches. Thanks for your inspiration ❤❤❤

I am using this stitch to make my grandson an afghan for his HS graduation. Each grand child gets an afghan when they graduate from HS. We have 2 graduating this May. I finished the 1st afghan a week ago and started crocheting his a few days later, using this stitch. I am using Caron Big Cakes in the color Toffee Brickle. I learned how to crochet 41 years ago. I was shown how to make a granny square my senior year of HS. My friend and I would meet at lunch and over a week period she patiently showed me how. I still have that sample square. I have crocheted off and on over the years and in 2006 I started crocheting again and I haven't stopped. I can read a pattern but I don't enjoy crocheting like that. When I came across your channel a few years ago, I learned more from you than any written pattern and it is less stressful learning from you. Love watching all your KZbin videos and look forward to each and every one.

Beautiful pattern Crystal. I found myself watching and pointing out the stitch I needed on the video and was amazed I caught on so quick.. You telling everyone that you knew we could do this helps. Thank you for these stitch tutorials. They are great.😊 Thanks for teaching the way you do. 🤗 your teacher would be proud of how many students you have and how they feel about you.

I really thank God for your patience teaching these different stitches you have the patience of Job. And sometime it can be intimidating. I was taught how to crochet when I was a kid but I would pick it up every now and then. I stiff feel like I am a beginner but I have been crocheting regularly since 2016 just basic stitches. But by watching you I really didn’t know that there was so many different stitches. Thank you and keep up the good and beautiful work.

I'm going to have to go back on FB so you can see what I have made. Most of it is your stuff that I crocheted for charity but then I have a few other things that I think you would be impressed with. That's from someone who was a beginner not too long ago and taught myself how to crochet till I got on KZbin and I have learned so much from you and Tiffany Henson it's amazing.

I'm in love with this stitch! Can't wait to try it on an afghan. Thank you for telling us how to adjust if we use a foundation single crochet rather than a chain with SCs. I just can't seem to get a proper tension unless I do the single or double crochet foundation chain. I'm so lame. LOL! Letting me know how many stitches I should end up with on the first row helps tremendously. You explained this stitch so well that this beginner can do it. 🥰
