This is one of my favorite crocheted pocket shawls. Most are an open stitch that do not keep you warm. It actually looks knitted. I am making one in a similar color scheme but the next one will be in a denim blue. Thank you for sharing!

I have the exact same yarn but in shades of blue. I bought it because I loved the colors, but I did not have a project in mind for it. But now I do. In fact I have enough yarn to make two of these shawls. I absolutely love this pocket shawl ❤️

I hope this helps… the 135 ribbing rows I found to be so much smaller then the one she made. So in the beginning she measures the ribbing and it is doubled over in half, it is 30 inches on one side so you need a total of 70 inches to be the size she made. The 135 ribbed rows only measures at 35 inches so you need to crochet another 25 inches so around another 100 rows. I’m thinking she meant 235 rows be a that’s closer to 60 inches. Hi Stephanie. For the yarn, you can crochet a little piece (with same hook and yarn and same stitch) you can find out how many grams of yarn you'll need by weighing and measuring that piece. But it's a very tedious process so I usually try to estimate how much yarn will be needed.
