How To Crochet A Bluey (Toddler) Hat

I just completed the hat and ear flaps using the hook size you suggested, and I crochet tightly, and mine came out big enough for a teen/adult. I made it for my 1 yer old granddaughter. Love the pattern, guess I'll have to frog and redo with a smaller hook. Thank though for a great tutorial!🙂

@analane-fq5yn yes on my instagram/ facebook you can see it (same name) but I use the carrot as the top part of the hat, blush as bottom part. Ears: carrot and blush, eyes: white and black, eyebrows: heather, middle nose part: heather, snout: heather, nose: brown

Decided not to frog the first hat, and went ahead and made one with a G(4.00mm) and it fits perfectly! I'll give the bigger one to her teenage sister so they can have matching hats ;) Thanks again!

Willow just turned 1 on the 5th and that little girl is crazy over Bluey lol I don't know what happened with the first one I followed you exactly, and I kept thinking what the heck am I doing wrong!?? So I went with a smaller hook and now I have two so other it can be a sis and me pair or a a mom and me :) New Subscriber btw! You can go to the child one. For all the accents on the hat it will be the same. For the hat itself I would do one more row increase (2dc, dcx10) for a total of 72 dc. And I would add a row.

Ur hook looks like a size 4

Size 4 for the accents (all except the ears, that is with a h hook)
