Thank you for sharing. I have several cross stitch pieces and this gives me an option for finishing them off. I usually frame mine or put fabric around them. It is great to see a young person doing cross stitch and crocheting. Great job!!!

Again, beautifully done. It does my heart good to see a young person who loves the fiber arts as much as I do. I can’t think of any other industry where we so freely share our trade secrets. And yes...you are not normal. You are eweneek!

This is a lovely idea and one I am sure I will use! I did wonder how you finished off the back of the piece when you had completed the crochet. Thank you for sharing.

The back is just... there. unfinished 😆 I'm a lazy cross stitcher lol. So basically everything is just hidden on the back side. The back looks a mess, but at least I can't see it haha. Here's an idea if you want to give your project a cleaner finish than I gave mine. Start with a plain piece of fabric that is the same size as your cross stitch piece. When crocheting around the edge of the cross stitch piece, also push the crochet hook through the fabric backing. Depending on the size of the hook and the type of material, it might be necessary to poke holes into the fabric for the hook to go through. But crocheting through both the cross stitch and fabric piece would join them together and hide the chaos on the back side. Hope this helps!
