How to crochet a chevron cushion

Using a zig zag / chevron design learn how to make this funky cushion cover.
For a 40cm cushion.
Scrap yarn used was Stylecraft Special DK with a 4mm hook.

Thank you so much for sharing! My great aunt made these and taught me basic crochet. Unfortunately she passed before she could show me how to make her much loved pillows. I plan to make each of my (12) grandkids one for Christmas. Guess I better get started. LOL!!

I would always have a hard time doing the Chacon stitch, it got to the point where I wouldn't look at that stitch or buys books with that stitch, but you made it so I could really understand how to do it, thank you for making it easy for me to learn and I love love love the pillow and yes I will be making this

If you can’t find a round cushion, just make one with some toy stuffing and cotton fabric :) Have fun!

Love this pattern. Please can you tell me what the multiple is as I done 264 chains but it was too long so if I want to do the 90cm I don't know the multiple. Please help!

Hello, the pattern repeat uses 22 stitches. If you so a small sample piece of say three repeats and three rows, then measure it, you will be able to work out how many pattern repeats you need for your size of cushion. Hope this helps.

When doing the nine double crochet are you going into every one on the chain? Or every second one?

Every one… you only go into the second on for the very first stitch.

SC is American terminology…. I’m in the UK and we call that stitch a DC. We don’t use SC at all.
