Love the video. Short and sweet not really for beginners. I find if you pin the parts on before sewing it helps get them in the right place. The safety eyes can be found at joanns or the Internet. Hope these tips help some others.

Hi @Natazia. So cute, where do you get the safety eyes from?
@naztazia10 жыл бұрын
hairandmakeupme Thank you for your kindness! I find safety eyes at my local craft store. I live in the USA, so I visit Joann's a lot. The safety eyes are usually by the pompoms and sequins and doll making supplies in my local store. If you don't have that type of store, Amazon, eBay and Etsy definitely have them.

round 3 says you should have 18 st at end round 4 says 2 sc in first st then 1 sc in the rest ending with 24 st. ?? my maths says you have 22 at end of round 4 amd I'm just being dense here?
@naztazia7 жыл бұрын
Hello - for each round you increase by 6. Round 1 is 6; Round 2 is 12. Round 3 at the 1:50 mark in the video shows the pattern of 2, 1 around. That means, 2, 1, 2, 1, etc. for a total of 18 SC. Round 4, at the 2:28 mark in the video show the pattern of 2, 1, 1 around. That means 2, 1, 1, 2, 1 ,1 for a total of 24 SC.

Do you have to make this with a f size hook because on one of your projects I made it with a h size hook and it turned out perfect
@naztazia9 жыл бұрын
Ankit Verma Hello - the reason I suggest an F size hook is so that the smaller hook will make the stitches come out tighter. You don't want the stuffing from inside the dog coming out through the holes of the crochet work, so a tighter stitch (achieved with a smaller hook like a size F) will help prevent that.

How do you make the nose? You didn't show that part. I see someone already asked but no response.
@zulemaflores12344 жыл бұрын
In my way to make the protrusion features. I would add another smaller ball like the head, stuff-it inside, then stitch on the outside all around, but first I would crochet the dogs mouth and line to the smaller ball before crocheting the dogs outside features.

karenpalmer9988 Hi! The nose on the dog is a store-bought pom-pom (found in the kids section of craft stores) that I glued on -- you can also sew it on as well. The cat's nose is embroidered/sewn on with pink embroidery floss.

Sarina Pratt My final dog has a pom pom as a nose as you can see here: 0:09 and 13:32. I tried other methods (felt, embroidery, crochet) but the pom pom was the nicest, which is why it made it into the official photo for this video.

There's actually a few different dogs in the video, because I like to change things up all the time. In the main photo, yes, it's one of those tiny craft pompoms about 1/2 inch in diameter.

june everman The muzzle on the dog was an after thought for the main photo. It's just a repeat of how everything else starts out - magic ring, 6 sc, then 12 sc. Sew onto front of face :)
