I love how you use the slip stitch to travel. I also love that you sl st from the top shoulder to the arm pit of the gingerbread man and it filled the gap. Made me smile😊 thanks

I love this project, thank you so much. I made one last year for my BFF. I actually stitched two and stitched them together. I stitched on the face and glued little eyes on them and used the same little eyes for the buttons. I stitched a little red scarf and put on a loop to hang the gingerbread man on a christmas tree. I also added a little stuffing, not too much, but enough to give it some dimension. It is the cutest darn thing. I am now making 7 of them for my favorite work friends. I am on number 4. Beautiful pattern, thanks again.

Love your video and excellent tutorial as always. This came out so cute‼️ I must say though since I am a neat freak I made two and sewed them together to hide all the yarn bits from the eyes, buttons and frosting. It came out great and now looks even more like a cookie because it is thicker. Thank you so much for all of your great videos.

You are my most very favorite crochet instructor on youtube. :) You really have a talent for instruction and crochet. You go at just the right speed and are clear, concise and detailed. Your videos never leave me confused about any stitches. Great job from beginning to end of every video. I have made so many of your projects multiple times. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! I only started crocheting this season and found your step-by-step instructions very easy to follow. For a somewhat overwhelming project at first glance, you made it so accessible to new crocheters like me. I loved how you explained why you did certain techniques and steps - I not only have a finished project but have learnt tips and tricks for future projects too. Thank you!

Thinking about putting them in a window and wanting them to look good on both sides- You could glue it to a piece of felt decorated as a gingerbread man OR leave felt plain OR make 2 and slip stitch them together.

Hi, this is my first ever time I'm making anything with crochet. I'm left handed which is making it very difficult to see which way around it is when switching up and down the arms and legs. The only thing that would really help is if you could hold up where you at each end as you go down each side. Just so I could see which position I need to turn it to. Video is really informative and easy enough to follow and thank you for a great tutorial 👍

after a long day sat down to look up how to crochet a gingerbread man, thank you I really enjoyed your demonstration, can I use any wall. i.e. 4ply and how would I create a down side thanks jacqui
@lindajackson58668 жыл бұрын
jacqui berry -You can use any yarn, aslong as you use the required hook size for your chosen yarn. It will say which size on the yarn label. So if you choose a finer yarn, your gingerbread man will be smaller, but if you then choose a chunky yarn, it will end up being larger.

My kids love this! Great video. Questions, any suggestions on making the gingerbread man head into snowman body parts? I'm assuming just double the head then triple it again for the mid section and bottom pieces, but I wanted to see if you had any suggestions. Merry Christmas Laura!
@HappyBerryCrochet9 жыл бұрын
+Raven Claw1280 I'd have to design one really before I could think off the top of my head! If you just made two circles they would over-lap so you would need to adjust the design really as a whole.
