how do you chain 9 but sc around and get 18! you have to inc around to get 18 if you start by chaining 9!

If you put 2 sc in every sts you'll have 18 but he didn't crochet in the same sts but around them .. I hope you understand what I said because I'm lacking of teaching skills LOL

It will be no different than doing a magic circle... and then sc 2 in each 9sc.
