Hello....I am using 3ply cotton yarn with 2mm hook...what variations do I need to do... Should I start with 18 DC or should go for 1 extra round before I turn...pls guide

What stitch do u use to attach the handle whip stitch or what and can the yarn that has attached the handle be seen on the outside of the basket? Im still new at crocheting. These are so adorable want to make a couple but need that info about the handle first. Thanks for the tutorial! 😘

Hi Karen, to stitch the handles I didn't use any special stitch. I stitched it randomly, just followed the lines or direction of the stitches. The stitching is not visible from outside. Since it was not any particular crochet stitch, I didn't show it. But I guess it would have helped, my bad.

Love your video but after I finish row 2 with 24 stitches, and on rd. three I do 1 st. Then 2 sts. Around I end up with 32 sts not 36 what am I doing wrong? I've been adding extra sts. to get the 36 sts. Can you help me?

Hi Donna, I am sorry you are ending with an incorrect stitch count. Please re confirm that you have 24 sts in round 2 and also when doing Round 3, altenate sts should be an increase. You Can use a thicker yarn with a smaller hook size. The best yarn to get really stiff baskets are T shirt yarns and macrame.
