How to crochet a sweet baby / children's dress - the Mia dress

Just made the top portion of this dress. The bottom will be pink flowered fabric. Your tutorial videos are so easy to follow. You're a great teacher! I did two things different - I crocheted the straps at the same time. I just continued up for 3 rows at the correct positions. Saved me from having to stitch the strap on in two places. I also made this in three pieces - front panel and two back panels because I want to add buttons. Thank you so much. Your work is impeccable!

Hi, I have tried making this little dress but when it comes to doing the skirt I end up with far too many shells. I've not put too many stitches around in the 1st round just done as you have said. Could it be because I am using dk acrylic yarn?? Please can you help. Many thanx sandra

Hi there, I have started and restarted making this dress. I was planning on giving it to my granddaughter when she turned one. Needless to say I haven’t finished it, she’s now going to be two in October! I am stuck at the beginning of making the shirt part. I feel like I’m not choosing the correct stitches to have it come out like yours. Mine is puckering. I am ready to throw in the towel and apologize to my daughter-in-law that I’m not going to be able to finish it. It saddens me, because she asked me if I can make it fire her. I’ve crocheted some, but I don’t think it’s enough for me to complete this dress. I’ve crocheted shoes, flip flops, hats for my granddaughter, but this is causing me a bit of stress! :(. It’s not you at all, it’s me…I just can’t get it! Thank you for your videos!!❤️
