How to crochet a tote bag | beginner friendly crochet tote

This is a tutorial to crochet an easy tote using only basic crochet stitches like single crochet, double crochet and chains.
To make this bag you will need worsted weight yarn in two colours, approximately 285 yards of grey and 145 yards of white, crochet hook size H/5 mm, stitch markers, yarn needle and measuring tape.
The bag measures 16.5 inches wide and 12.5 inches high excluding the handles.
