Thanks for the tutorial! I think that’s called an awl, that hole punch stick. Have you seen the thing that goes on a rotary cutter tool that you just roll and it makes the holes for you? Would be easier, I think. I don’t have one but I do have an awl and didn’t even think to use it, so thanks!

I use a Tape Measure, Mark every 1/2 inch with a Marking Pen, then I use a US size 7/1.65 mm Crochet Hook to Make my Holes.

Should you use cotton or acrylic?

I personally use cotton yarn because cotton is harder to ketch on fire and it don't melt like acrylic does.
