LOVE this video. I've been making African Flower Hexagons from written instructions, and was frustrated with a few mistakes I've been making. Your instructions are really clear and will help me to adjust what I've been doing, and definitely help me to not make those mistakes. Thank you!

Have you been making the Heidi bear animals?
@jugglekittenxz48654 ай бұрын
YES! Reading the written pattern made made no sense because the squares I was looking at didn’t seem the same. It was making me do single crochets on the last two rounds which looked odd

this was perfect, not too fast so that it was hard to follow along, but not too slow to bore a more experienced crocheter!! well done! all your movements were so clear and well explained too

What a wonderful tutorial! Thank you so very much. Do you also have one for joining them?
@AdoreCreaCrochet7 ай бұрын
Thank You so much🥰I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial! While I don´t have a video tutorial on joining them, I can guide you through the basic steps of how I prefer to join them. Arrange your hexagons in the desired layout to create the final pattern. I use the Whip Stitch Join: With a tapestry needle, join by stitching through both loops of the corresponding stitches on each hexagon. This creates a nearly invisible seam. Single Crochet Join: Join with a row of single crochet stitches worked through both loops or back loops of the corresponding stitches on each hexagon. Remember to keep a consistent tension while joining to ensure a neat and professional finish. There are various methods and decorative stitches for joining, so feel free to explore and find the one that suits your project best. If you have a specific joining method in mind or need more guidance on a particular technique, let me know!

There is some way to make this African flower hexagon, but make it half the hexagon, I want to join a Top but I want it to be straight, and with the hexagons it does not work, but i really like to add half a flower in that space, is it possible? 🥺
@AdoreCreaCrochet5 ай бұрын
Hi😊 I am sure there is a way to make a half african flower hexagon. I will try to look into it and perhaps make a tutorial on the subject.

hii it is me again can u show a tutorial of how to crochet a pentagon
@AdoreCreaCrochet8 ай бұрын
Hi 🙂 Certainly! That is a great idea. I will try to make that, when I can find time. Untill then here's a simple tutorial to help you crochet a basic pentagon: Materials Needed: Yarn of your choice Crochet hook suitable for your yarn Yarn needle Scissors Abbreviations: ch: chain sc: single crochet dc: double crochet sl st: slip stitch Instructions: Start with a Magic Ring: Make a magic ring and secure it with a slip stitch. Round 1: Chain 3 (counts as your first double crochet). Work 9 more double crochets into the magic ring. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain 3. You should have a total of 10 double crochets. Round 2: Chain 3 (counts as your first double crochet). In the same stitch, work 1 double crochet. In the next stitch, work 2 double crochets. Repeat from * to * around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain 3. You should have a total of 20 double crochets. Round 3: Chain 3 (counts as your first double crochet). In the same stitch, work 1 double crochet. In the next stitch, work 1 double crochet. In the next stitch, work 2 double crochets. In the next stitch, work 1 double crochet. Repeat from * to * around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain 3. You should have a total of 30 double crochets. Round 4: Chain 3 (counts as your first double crochet). In the same stitch, work 1 double crochet. In the next two stitches, work 1 double crochet each. In the next stitch, work 2 double crochets. In the next two stitches, work 1 double crochet each. Repeat from * to * around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain 3. You should have a total of 40 double crochets. Round 5: Chain 3 (counts as your first double crochet). In the same stitch, work 1 double crochet. In the next three stitches, work 1 double crochet each. In the next stitch, work 2 double crochets. In the next three stitches, work 1 double crochet each. Repeat from * to * around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain 3. You should have a total of 50 double crochets. Finish: Fasten off and weave in any loose ends using a yarn needle. Adjust the size of your pentagon by changing the number of stitches in each round. Experiment with different colors and yarn weights to create unique and beautiful pentagons for your projects!
