Very good idea putting them in the bottom corner 🙏🏻 I was able to finish this bear is about 2 days (I can only crochet when my baby is sleeping lol). So I can’t wait to make more. I’m fairly new to crochet but this was so clear and in combination with the patter I bought for it, I was so pleased that I made a second bear for my granddaughter and added a skirt and bow. I also purchased the Winnie the Poo pattern and that will be my next one. Thank you so much!!!

I struggled with the stitches on this one. The first time I did the head, I ended up waaaay off on the amount of stitches on several rows, I have no idea how it happened. At one point I ended up with 19 extra stitches on a row 😂 compounded mistakes I think. I ended up unraveling the whole head and doing it again. One key note is on the rounds with an increase or a decrease, you're always ending on that. Several times when I was redoing the head, I would always have one less stitch or one additional stitch, so I always had to undo that row and start again. Figuring out it always ended on an increase or decrease was very helpful. Seems obvious now 😂

Hi there, thanks for your comment. It is one of the most common issues people face. To keep a correct stitch count I would highly recommend a stitch marker or a paper clip or even scrap yarn. Hope this helps. 😊

Hello I love the pattern ! I am a beginner and was wondering what size are the eyes you used and does it change the look of the bear if I use smaller ?
@KeepCalmAndCrochet
@KeepCalmAndCrochet 3 жыл бұрын
I used 12 mm eyes. Yes if you use smaller eyes it will change the look slightly however if you go for bigger eyes it should be okay. X

This bear is made of single crochet stitches only so if you are confident with that then rest of it is just counting for which i highly recommend stitch marker x Enjoy making this bear x
