goddamn, you are talented! it's not just that you make your own patterns, but also that they have shape to them! it gives them Life that other amigurumi patterns do not have. if I tried to make my own patterns, I'd be like, "Look I made a worm!", it's just a tube with a face... a crooked face. you deserve so much recognition for your talent

Wow, this is so cute! I'm making this for Lunar New Year right now as a surprise gift for my teacher. The tiger is so cute and perfect! Well, yours is, at least. This is my first time working a pattern with so many color changes and little details, but so far I've gotten up to the tail and it's going a lot better than I expected! Thanks for all your beautiful patterns, they're really fun to make and I love all the little animals sitting around my house that have been created from them.

I’m making my own dragon thingy but I couldn’t figure out how to make the pose 😭 the tiger has the exact pose I need for my dragon, yes, I’m taking inspo from your random dragon fusion videos but it’s not like yours, I have a dragon, scorpion and space (yay) so I’m going for a cosmic scorpion dragon (sorta like the one from dragon adventures on roblox) and this is the perfect pose for what I’m making :D I’ve already gotten a good scorpion tail and now have the main body, probably gonna use one of your other videos for a good dragon head (I suck at make my own patterns 😭) can’t wait to so how it turns out, might add a planet or smth hanging from the tail too :D

I've restarted four times, and every time the colors on my piece are twisting around the shape. Is this pattern not in the round? I'm still a beginner and I'm so confused.

Hello ! Could you please explain again on row 14 why we need to count backwards after finishing a front post stitch and how we should know where to insert our hook ? I’m just a bit confused 😣
@ComplicatedKnots2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Sometimes it's tricky to tell where the next stitch should be when swapping between frontpost and sc, and I found that I would end up losing a stitch sometimes. What I do to avoid that is look at the row total, for example (24), and then count backwards from my hook 24 stitches. Wherever that 24th stitch falls is where I work my first sc after I finish the front-post stitches. If you don't have an issue with row counts when swapping between the two stitch types, don't worry about doing the count-backwards thing :)

When carrying the other color through my stitches it shows through a lot (I’m using red and white so it’s more obvious.) do you know any techniques to prevent this and would using a smaller hook help?
@ComplicatedKnots2 жыл бұрын
I hope this makes sense, but before changing back to the colour you're carrying, try pulling that strand tight. Removing any slack from it can help it show less. Another option is to not crochet over the strand, just pull it forward as you need it. If it's still a big problem, you may have to swap to reattaching your darker colour each time.

What happened to rows 9 to 12? Is it scheduled in color B for 8 stitches, change to color A for 20 stitches and back to B for 8 stitches? You go so fast it makes me dizzy.
@ComplicatedKnots2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Sorry if the video is confusing. R9. 36sc (36) - Start in colour B: 8sc, change to colour A: 20sc, change to colour B: 8sc R10. B: 11sc A: 14sc B: 11sc (36) R11. B: 6sc, 2[dec, sc] A: dec, sc, 7sc, dec, sc B: 2[dec, sc], 5sc (30) R12. B: 6sc, 3[dec], sc A: 5sc, B: 3[dec], 6sc (24)

I appreciate this being a free pattern, but directions were too fast, it went from row 4 to row 20 at lightning speed. No zoom ins to explain what you were talking about as far as sewing the face and the whole front whatever its called for the neck. Also didnt explain that you sewed the leg together. Did you leave the top instuffed? Who knows you never specified. Pattern has a lot of potential but im not impressed with the execution of the video and explinations going 5k miles an hour and suddenly the whole thing is done. Im on the second front foot now, and dont want to waste the yarn ive already used but i will not be making this again.

Hi! I'm afraid not. If you check out the "skullicorn" though, it's a pretty standard pony that might work for a donkey?
