HOW TO CROCHET | AN EASY LACE CHOKER

Going straight back to the 90's YO! Everybody is wearing these pretty, lacy black chokers again and I couldn't be happier especially because I realised that I could crochet one up in super quick time.
For this tutorial you will need a ball of Rico Crochet Thread in Black, you can get that here: bit.ly/2cEuzqU and a 2mm hook. For the video I am using some dk weight cotton and a 4mm hook, just to show you the stitches better.

I was a bit confused for a second about the double crochet. Than I realized you were referring to the U.K. double crochet which is a single crochet in the US.

Loved it', I made 2,' w/ acrylic yarn 2nd one not so hot acrylic yarn was thicker but still cute maybe for winter over a turtle neck 😅, but Thanks a bunch it was fun', because they're so quick' 😇

you said the first st was a d/c. I am guessing that is the UK version? I just want to make sure, cuz it looked like a s/c to me (U.S. version), but I have had a little bit of wine lol and don't want to get confused.

This was a great tutorial! However that first few crochets you did, I am quite sure that those are single crochets and not double crochets. For double crochets, you yarn over, into the loop, yarn over pull through 2 loops, yarn over pull through all! If I am wrong then u can ignore me

i believe someone mentioned before that she’s using UK terms so a double crochet for them is a single crochet in US terms

Oh no I haven't but I must. All I did with this was pin it out flat and then pin each of the trianglely bits so they really stand out, then I sprayed it with water and left it overnight.....xxx
