Love this pattern! So dainty! I made one using cotton yarn and it was too thick so I made another using artiste size 8 crochet thread and it’s amazing. I had to increase the amount of rows with thread but it turned out great.

Very simple pattern to follow and looks great when finished. Also, on the increase rows I found it easier to just remember to just go up by one number when trying to figure out the middle stitch. Sorry if that sounds confusing I’ll try to describe it better... Row 2- sc 7 , sc 3 increase , sc 7 Row 4- sc 8 , sc 3 increase, sc 8 Row 6- sc 9 , sc 3 increase, sc 9 .....etc. I hope that helps. 🙂

I love this mask. I made it, using DK yarn and a 3mm hook. I finished it and put it on my face, WAY SMALL!!! This would fit a child's face, not an adults. It was very tight across my face. Perhaps you might wanna label this a child's mask, or maybe add that the crocheter can use a larger hook.... This is just my conclusion.

Ok I think I got it. I did pay for the instructions. My mask is big. lol I don’t think I got the correct size of yarn and hook. But I will keep trying. I love the mask and the time taken to show me. I would however like to see the pattern and symbols. What I paid for did not show the pattern with symbols nor did it say what size material and hook. I know in the video size 4 mm was mentioned. What kind of yarn did she use? My 4 mm did not work. I had to use a bigger hook. I’m having fun figuring this out. I am going to perfect with the real pattern. Not 25 pages to print. I do like how the video takes us through how she creates her mask. Hers turned out beautiful. Mine is a little rough around the edges.
@joysoriano2825
@joysoriano2825 4 жыл бұрын
@@D1redmann I watched, rewatched, replay the video multiple times to comprehend the instructions. On my end, I stitched, restitched, redo, undo, and start from the start all over again of the single crochet stitches. I got confused with how many sc in each row, in the middle of the each rows where there are single crochets in 1 loop as it increases of every rows then at the center of the mask, how many sc were there before it decreases again. Funny thing was 😁 the number of sc and rows of mask was her size (small) and not mine. I was akmost done with it. So, I had to restart again to increase my chain stitch for a foundation to accustomed my face. Anyways, hope you make your crochet mask pretty good.
