Thank you for this tutorial. I watched over a dozen and yours was the only one that I could follow/understand.

Everyone attempting this pattern who wants a clean edge leave a very long tail on the beginning row. Makes the piece so much more stunning. Love this pattern!!!

To Create the Holes, I use a Ruler and Marker or Dark Pen. Mark a Hole Evenly Spaced Across the Top Edge of Towel (42 Holes, more or less). Then I Use a Size 6/1.80 MM Hook to Start the Holes, then a E/3.5 MM Hook to Enlarge the Hole, then I use a G/4.25 MM Hook to Single Crochet my Starter Row and Switch to an H/5 MM for the Rest of Rows. This Saves on the Yarn Splitting. Can use a Smaller/Larger Hook Depending on the Yarn of Choice for the Rest of Rows. I also like to Cut the Towels in Half.

How many stitches do I need to start please? I’m a beginner and need the exact amount, Really enjoy your style for teaching .
@sigridkutz44683 жыл бұрын
Thank you, great idea. You could use a pointy darning needle and work a blanket stitch across instead of having to make holes

Thank you so much, great pattern. However I was stuck with one stitch left, so I did the 3 then had a space then only one left after that. What would you suggest I do ? I’m not sure mine was acceptable.

I love this!! I do not care where I get my things from, I go for the best price although the quality has to be decent too!! Have you checked out the Dollar Store with their dish towels? I have found some pretty cute ones there. Anyway it all about the finished product and all of your projects are beautiful and amazing!!!

Thanks! I haven't seen any towels at my local Dollar Tree stores... But agree that as long as the quality is decent, I will go with the less expensive one! :)
