Thanks so much for this wonderful tutorial. I bought some of these bases awhile ago to use to make purses, didn’t have any idea how to use them, and was unable to find any tutorials, yours is wonderful and now I can finally make a purse to take to my nephews communion next month.

You are so creative! Your talent & creativity deserves a follow! The black purse is beautiful. You'd never know that you recycled a piece of leather & a belt to create something so high class. I create purses(and other products) from recycled can tabs. I have been doing them for over 5yrs & make good money. The only problems are #1 they take soooo long to make. I'd never be able to sell anything if I charged for my time....but that's with most crafters isn't it. We do it because we enjoy creating things. #2 since I started my business, I've always purchased cloth pencil cases, make up pouches or simple zipper bags that I'd find at the dollar store. I would then create the purse around the pouch "liner" based on its sided & dimensions. The problem is that it has limited me to the size & type of designs that I can create. It's time for me to expand & introduce new purses BUT I can't sew. Nor can I find a simple tutorial that teaches how to create a drop in lining with wider bottoms, inside pocket(s) & a zipper WITH extentions. Of course working w/pop tabs have their own set of challenges when it comes to attaching a liner, creating a bigger, wider bottom & adding zipper extentions.....but I feel like I can figure out all those details once I figure out how to sew a liner. 😆 I recently purchased a leather, oval purse bottom w/studs & am just waiting for it to come in the mail. I think I've figured out how to attach it(this tutorial was very helpful. Ty) My plan is to use it as a template & possibly use craft wood instead. It's all going to depend on the strength of the leather & how well it helps the poptabs retain their shape of an oval. I'm going to go back & look thru the rest of your videos....because I've seen a few nylon crocheted purses that I'd like to try but I also was hoping to find something that will help with my other 2 issues of creating liners & zipper extentions. Thank you again for the great content. You make it very beginner friendly & easy to follow along.

About the size of the needle depend a big are the hole , usually 3.5 is fine . I hope that this information is helpful. If you have any moore questions fell free to let me know. I here to help you. You’re obviously creative person and I don’t mean to be rude, but your video tutorials would look so much better if you don’t talk (especially in all broken English)!

I speak and teach English and I found the explanation extremely helpful! Thank you Nana! If someone prefers not to listen then I suggest they turn the sound off instead of being rude to someone that has taken their time and effort to share their skill. Nana, please continue to do what you do.

@@lindanorman3243 it’s obvious you refer your comment to me being apparently rude! I was NOT! Not my intention at all! Unless, you’re desperately having an urge to pick fights with random people, be prepared to have it spat right back into your face! @@lindanorman3243 don’t worry, this thing has a habit of “not being rude” to people who speak English as a second language. I believe the term is Troll, but that’s rather offensive to Scandinavian mythological creatures. I prefer to think of it as something that just won’t flush no matter how many times you pull the chain.
