Hi Denise, thank you for your kind words! I know what you mean about holding the yarn. I often see crocheters wrapping yarn around their fingers of the left hand, and to me it always seemed very uncomfortable. But I guess different things work best for different people.

Yes, absolutely! Or you can even start without the foundation (first) row at all. I wanted to have the same straight edges on both ends, so I started with a row of double crochets and finished with a row of double crochets.

Hi Olga!loved the pattern..but I'm experiencing a difficulty..I have done 65 chains ..in the 2and row it is not ending in the shell n 2 chains..it is ending with single cochet n 2 chains..it is multiples of 10 plus 5?

Hi! I just checked the pattern again, yes, it's a multiple of 10, plus 5. I'm not sure why you are having that problem; it's really hard to say without seeing your work.

Hi Donya, unfortunately cardigans are not really my expertise. I only made one so far, and it was a cocoon cardigan. But I am not really experienced with fitted garments. I'd love to learn! Perhaps that would be one of my crochet goals for this year. Thank you for your comment!

@@OlgaPoltava we're like 2 peas in a pod when it comes to cardigans and garments😁. I tried a cocoon in #6 yarn, but I didn't like the outcome. I'm trying another (hexagon pattern style) and it's with bernat casa yarn. I think if I even attempt another one I should use either a 3 or 4 weight. Live and learn. Lol 🤷‍♀️

Hola Alejandra! Podrías poner el vídeo en una velocidad más lenta. Yo así hecho chalés de personas que sólo hablan ruso me tardó más pero ya terminado tu trabajo te dará mucha satisfacción. El patrón es un múltiplo de 10 + 5 cadenas. 😉
