Thanks, this is really pretty. Not sure if there's a mistake: the last ch8 loop you made in round 1 doesn't get tied together partway up the loop in round 2 the way the others do, so the completed snowflake you are holding at 16:16 isn't symmetrical. I fixed mine by sewing in a slip stitch while I was finishing off my yarn but would it be better to close that hole while crocheting?
