You can take measurements of your waist and length and same for your arms and you'll know how long to make each portion. I have to do the same for my aunt who asked me to make it for her she's about a 1x-2x

I dont understand what I am doing wrong!!! I measured it with the first chain and brought it around my back to my front and the ends met to each of my hip bones in the front. I have made 4 strips and now when I put it around me it reaches all the way in front of me to met my bellie button. What am I doing wrong this happens every single time I try and make a cardigan or sweater and Im ready to give up

Question, for the sleeve cuff, do you only do one decrease on like the third row? So for example, you do the one row of half double crochets, then one row of single crochets, then a third row of single crochets with just 1 decreased stitch, and then on to the chain 8?

for the sleeve cuff i did decreases the whole row to make the sleeve fit tighter on the wrist, hope this answers ur question😊 it should cut the number of stitches for the sleeve in half

Your work is beautiful , be your own walking billboard . Maybe try a drop of fabric glue on the tails . But if you tuck them really good you should be good .
