Others may not understand that they shouldn't chain three after pulling through the first two loops for the double crochet stitch and end up with a mess instead of the rose.

I feel as if my own auntie were sitting with me to teach me crochet. I am currently inpatient in a hospital and learning crochet for the first time gives me something fun to do that keeps my mind occupied. Just wanted to express my gratitude for the time you took making this video. I am making multiple rose flowers from different yarns, and watching the video I hear your voice over & over so you have even become something of a companion to me in a place that sometimes feels lonely. I also wanted to tell you that I gave one of the flowers I made to a nurse who thought it was pretty; I had left long yarn tails at both beginning and end to make it easier to fasten onto something later, and she promptly tied it around her head!
