How to Crochet Scarf with Open Lace Stitch, Crochet Video Tutorial

I hope you are not tired of crocheting scarves as I have a new pattern to share! This lace scarf is made using basic crochet stitches - chains, single and double crochets. And it is not as difficult as it might look! The pattern can be easily adjusted to other sizes or other projects.
Skill level: Beginner
Materials: 1 skein of Soft Yarn by Red Heart (256 yards), hook size I (5.5 mm)
Finished size: about 56 inches long, 7 inches wide

Hello. This is my first time on your channel and the scarf is lovely. My only complaint is that I cannot see the work as you do it because you have a lot of hand movements. I kind of find it a bit distracting. I guess it is how you crochet. You crochet with a lot of movement. However you do great work.

It's a multiple of 12, plus 2. I made my scarf with starting chain 26, because 12*2=24, and 24+2=26.
