Thank you Juan! You are very easy to follow and I can see clearly All the Things you do with your hands. I am happy you decided to make this tutorial. And thank you for the update on Greg Hey Fiber Friends. Some people really need to find something better to do than to bully others, one in particular, GROW UP and be mature. These people ruined it for the rest of us. I hope Greg decides to take his channel back, he was doing great. I love listening to him and you talk while you crochet, share ideas, share projects, or just talk. I have two projects that I am almost finished with. My rule of thumb is only 2-3 WIPS at a time. So when I am done with one of my projects, Moss stitch in the round is my next project. Again thanks for sharing! Love your ideas!

Juan Juan Juan. Oh my gosh as a rule I’m not a visual learner but I’ve found this stitch easy to do and not be all crazy shaped because of turning at the end of each round. Ok so now I’m “hooked” on this stitch again. At this age (74) I’ve learned a new way of working with the moss stitch. Thanks 🎉❤

Juan, as I watched this, I decided to try this and I think this is the perfect stitch for hot pads, dish cloths and I’m laughing so hard because I pulled out my cotton! As a newbie to knitting dishcloths 10 years ago, I must have bought Michael’s out on their lot of Sugar ‘n Concrete! It’s a bit softer (lol) than its sister yarn Peaches ‘n Concrete but it’s so hard! It’s great for exfoliating and dishcloth type things!

A couple of months ago I made a tote bag using the moss stitch for the sides. I started the bottom with single crochet and switched to moss stitch for the sides. Changed colors every row, alternating between aran and scraps of different colors. It has a tweedy look and was a great way to use up scraps. I worked in a spiral going up the sides but now I wonder if turning every row would have been the better way to go.

I have been doing the Moss stitch for years, both traditional straight as well as C2C, but I’m going to give this “in the round” a shot. I like the way this stitch gives a dense grid look to the project

Is there a reason you yarn under when “pulling up a loop”, or is this just habit? I YO everything because that’s how I learned and YU is really awkward, but if there’s a good reason I’m unaware of, I may need to change my own habits. 🤔
