Doing this wth Bernat Blanket for a quick scarf and it's working up REALLY fast, a little awkward on the end, only 4 loops across to work in, sometimes i go too far. Not as relaxing with this yarn, and a size 9mm hook but im going to make more of these with some self striping yarn. Nice to have something not as dense as other stitches.

Any suggestions about what to do with the ends one is scalloped and the beginning one is straight? I think this is a bit much for beginners because of the difficulty in keeping the tension correct between chain three and double crochet. It would’ve been nice to see you do a couple more rows. When I watch you counting the 5 stitches to skip in the first row, it looks like you’re counting the stitch that you worked the 4 double crochets in. Maybe it’s just my point of view.
