How did 39 points come out? When you make 3 points is it on point 17+3 right there?

Foundation is 19 chain, first chain 3 count as 1dc, then dc in 4th ch, then 17dc, then 3dc in last ch, then 17 dc so total (ch3+dc+17dc+3dc+17dc=39dc) Hope it helps
