Correct me if im wrong. It's ok to make hole in the cylinder bag after 15 days? Why not on the first day while you are filling the straw with spawn?

Absolutely you can. But make sure you only make few on first day just to ensure that mycelium is growing with proper exchange of gases & later after 15 days while it is fully colonised you can add few more holes as now mycelium prefers oxygen over carbon dioxide. Also another tip if you don’t wanna disturb them in any between you can punch all holes on day 1 & close them with micropore tape & later after 15 days can remove them

If you make holes at fast,bacteria and excess air will enter and dry the substrate,if you want to make the holes, then cover entire bag with polythene

If you were to put the wet straw on a sterilized dried fabric (like bedding sheets) on top of your tarp, the fabric would absorb the moisture faster that Sunshine or air or a fan. good luck.
