The Blood Worm is usually found in still waters like ponds and small pools, they are creamy pink or red in color, depending on the type of bloodworm, which inspired their somewhat gruesome name.
The color of the Midge Fly bloodworm comes from a protein (red iron-porphyrin) found in their blood, and they are known for surviving in waters with low oxygen levels and water with high levels of pollution.
It is believed that approximately 99% of all fish will eat Bloodworm when offered it, so it is worth a try if you have found yourself struggling. If you have already tried freeze-dried and frozen products, you might want to step it up a notch and offer life bloodworms. Bloodworm food might be the solution you have been waiting for.

You can, but what ever food you use it should be in pallet form/ solid and slow dissolving as if you used any highly dissolving food it will make the water dirty and cause death. You can also use Oats or bread crumps but that should be kept on the form slightly touching the water level and not directly into the water.

@@naturehobby3680 the bloodworms are larvae of midget, that feed on waste and decomposing matter. They will convert into flies, similar like mosquito but don't bite the humans. The females will in turn lay the eggs in water bodies. Hence this type of culturing won't work for them. Though this method for the shown worms(i doubt if tubifex??) is good when you don't want to let go any parasite from the wild caught worms

Agr ap brine shrimps ki baat kr rhe ho to mene galt word use kr liye, breed nhi hatch. brine shrimps k eggs aate hain jinko aap hatch kr sakte ho and you can then use them as live feeding for your small fishes or baby fish.
