thanks so much :) wish it wasn't so tight, i may try it again with thicker pipe cleaners :) i'm trying this out on a polly pocket doll, have no idea how its going to turn out, just about to dunk her head in boiling hot water for the video :) crossing my fingers she'll look good for the video, i miss the polly pocket videos, want to do more with them, plus i found some mini barbies as well, video on that find next week :)

I actually use a clothing steamer I got from Walmart for $20. Works wonders. I prefer it over dipping the heads in hot water to prevent glue leaks. Also it’s easier because you have more control over where the curl can lay. And after taking the curlers out you can go ever the curl again to reduce frizz.

Okay, I haven't watched any your videos but I think you left some steps out - steps you may have included in your first video. You indicated we should go watch the other dolls' curling videos but why? How do you start the winding and how to you keep the hair from unwinding. It would be simple just to say "For those of you who have seen previous videos, you already know this, but if you are new . . . " and show how you start the curl and then how you finish off the hair from unwinding on one, and then speed up. And THEN you didn't mention the water. Hot? (didn't see any steam) warm? cool? When you took the pipe cleaners out, the ends were straight and appeared a bit frizzy. Then on the big reveal they blended. Did you floof the hair? You didn't show how you got from her walking out to the big reveal. I don't do videos but it seems to me that those steps should be included in all videos so anyone new coming in can "get it" with this video.

Nope not permanent, you can re-wash hair, you may need to pour hot water over hair but be very careful, hot water can burn your hands
