This is quite interesting and therapeutic to watch.. 💯❤ If I may ask, why do hair stylists put braids in hot water after braiding the hair?

I'm glad you found it interesting. Thank you for watching Sis❤. We use hot water because It makes the ends of the hair stick together making the braids look neat, basically the heat alters the hair just in the same way when you use a hair straightener or curling iron.

PSA: Please don't do this! You can get serious & permanently disfiguring burn scars this way. Curl the hair in hot boiling water before installing. No need to risk disfiguring yourselves this way.
