I would suggest maybe brushing it out afterwards to loosen the curls a bit. Like with a big comb

My hair is dark reddish brown, but it's fine like yours! It can grow long, but I've bleached it many years over. I'm Irish and scottish descent but from Canada, so not sure if that's what my hair is supposed to look like? LOL! But it's gotten finer over there years. Can't tell if it's from heat damage or all the bleaching trying to get lighter hair, but mine looks a lot like yours and really fine and straight! It's still pretty in it's own way....I miss having it thicker like when I was younger. I'm hoping less heat damage and embracing my natural colour will help!

👩‍💻My mom during the early 40's, WWII Era, would use bobby pins to "pin curl" her hair every night to go to high school. My whole life she kept her hair about 5 inches long and would have beautiful boufont curls. This non heat hair curling is certainly not new, it is just better for people's hair. I would only leave them in for a few hours maybe 2 hours and then take them out which would just give you a soft curl. Also you need to use bigger chunks of hair.

hey i can give you a tip for long hair like me so you brush from bottom to the top and once you get the top you brush all the way down 15 times on each side
