This is a topic that is not shown very often. I took a cheap Huffy 26" MTB with V brakes and converted it to disc brakes. It was difficult to do but something I did was to use spray paint to mark the contour of the front and rear of the bike's shape so that the steel had accurate markings to follow. I learned from you to use the dropout to align where to weld the mount, thank you for that nugget! I used the existing front wheel and ordered a hub with disc support and re-laced the wheel with the help of a bike mechanic friend of mine. One other thing I did which helped was to mount the brake lever on the bars and clamp down the caliper on the disc using a wire tie and rotating the wheel with the caliper to a desirable location and then trim away on the mount until it fits perfectly and then carefully tack the mount into place. I would then check for fit and angle then strip the parts off the frame or fork so I can finalize the weld.

That's right Mr Keegan, working on the bike takes a lot of skillsets but capturing it on video means you've got to become much more than a mechanic. Video is a craft unto itself & getting shots that show a clear shot of every step & then editing all of it in a meaningful way is as big, if not bigger than the mechanical work. I'm grabbing these videos so I can do them later on. I hope to find a decent bike frame somewhere, a trashed bike that I use the frame but add the wheels & other components. I've got no idea what I really want b/c I'm still learning some of the possibilities from channels like yours. Good content & brakes are a necessity - peace

Hey, don't get me wrong, I like your style right now. I was only saying it takes another skill & the time to do it but I like the way you come across now. If you are, "To the Point" & if people can see what you are doing that's all I think you need but a simple course in how to do video always helps, if you're really wanting to focus on that. I see lots of channels get more into the "Video" side & lose what their channel was about. You've got "fire" for what we're seeing here & that's why I stopped w/ you. You care enough to tell people how to avoid your pitfalls & that's as dope as it gets, imo. I'm not wanting you to change anything. Just saying the video side can be a monster & I'd rather get your best on these bikes/motors - I don't need flashy video & kool music. peace

Yes Keegan, all the stuff I shared w/ you about your bike/video styles = I meant them. And I told you what I see in other channels that I do not like. As I said, you share important things that cuts thru the normal bs of building these & most others do not. Heck, the others do not have your experience but you come across differently, as I made known. IF I had any advice to you, Do Not change anything! Got that? When I watch you I can feel you care about viewers and that they understand what you are telling them. That IS the most important thing & no amount of "Fluff" or video trickery can make you a better channel. If some can't FEEL what I feel coming from you, maybe they aren't vested or caring enough & might be wasting their time? I can't answer for viewers but I can tell you that I told you I felt these things from my 1st post & I do feel them, because that's who you are; you care & want people to do well so keep that your focus, Always & you'll keep views who care like you care & lose those who are lesser types of builders. They can always come back but don't give up your standard or style for me or any other. You are good at this, do not stop. Just teach honestly. I'll be here even if I never build a bike. peace

Does Keegan have a discord group for motorised bike fans etc that are willing to share info? I could be beneficial in the fact that people may not only learn from him but can discuss and help with others problems, thoughts and theories about these motorised bikes and their difficulties some may face.
