I have a stamps.com account. They also give a discount on stamps and shipping. You can actually print straight onto the envelope! (yay for those without the best of hand-writing)!

Hi, Amy! I have to get those at the post office. Rates are different for the holidays, so use the self-service machines to find out what the correct postage is :)

A non machinable stamp should cover it but you can always verify that the postage is correct if you just started at the post office.
