What do you add to the paint on the midsoles to stop cracking?

I apply a finisher after painting (link in description). I've found the paint splatter stays on much better than a solid colour.

The Footwear Care Deglazer to prepare the shoes then used The Footwear Care Matte Finisher to protect the paint!
