why would the tach not be on the left and MPH on the right? With no option to switch them. They've always built these trucks with those reversed and then some code writer decided how he wanted it. . Along with every car i've ever owned has been reverse of this!

That kind of bothers me too. But I used to have a 2015 Camaro and the speedo is actually on the left with the tach on the right. I never really thought about it while I had the car.

I just ordered the new 2023 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate, and I was wondering how to customize the screen. This is a great video and I'm saving it so when my truck comes in I will be able to set up the display that works best for me. I also like that your truck has super cruise. Great video! I do have to disagree about having the time and weather on the left of the display. That info is already on the infotainment screen so that’s why I opted for the compass. Just my preference!

You can move the compass to the windshield then you driving directions will also be on the windshield also. If you have the HUD.

As much as I love this all digital display I think they could have given a little bit more options. My 2017 Yukon has the tach on the left and Speedo on the right. Bothers me you can’t customize it to be this way in the new trucks. I’m sure I would get used to it the other way around but it seems like they could figure out a way to do this with an all digital setup.

What about setting and resetting the trip ometer. I keep a log book with every tank of gas. My 2013 Sierra would provide gallons, miles and MPG with the press of a button. My 2024 SLT is driving me crazy with this. I am doing my logbook with a calculator and pencil. Seems I should be able to display. Thanks.

It would require a complete redesign of the chassis. You can’t just throw in a panoramic sunroof. The structural integrity of the cab would be completely shot.
