Bro! Been tryin to find a video on how to customize for months! This was easy and straight to the point! Thank you so much! You wouldn't happen to know how to rig the avatar to be able to use objects would ya? ie: put on a hat, glasses, hold something in his hand? I'm using Animaze and their documentation is terrible on explaining any of this.

Hey man, great video! thank you for it. Just had one question though, in the shading port dropdown the clothing images arent shown separately - all the textures are embedded in the same image it looks like under the last name 'OPAQUE'. What can i do to get all the materials separate like you so i can edit them? Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah I need to update the video! Ready player me did some weird stuff and now you need to edit the download link to get them separated! So I’m going to reply to you again, with a avatar link. All you have to do is copy your avatar id number off your avatar link. And paste it into mine. Its the code after .me/ Mine starts with "62ec89..." And then download it again by putting it into your search bar & searching it. 😃

This is sweet! Might have to play around with custom graphics later. I was wondering how to add custom meshes to the ready player me Avatar, is there an easy way to do that? I fear I'm messing it up as objects I put on the head of the mesh do not want to move with the bones. When posing the mesh, the added objects don't move!

@TribegreywolfVR I kind of forget, I know at the time I was attempting to get a RPM avatar ready for Vrchat as well as Portals! I think my issue had something to do with an incorrect parent method perhaps? Not too sure! Thanks for the reply anyways XD

@@2spark631 yes absolutely! And oh you mean from Unity to VRChat. That’s a harder one. I don’t know Unity enough to troubleshoot that.

Hi, is there a way to export the glb file from readyplayerme so it does not delete the mesh under the cloth so I can add cloth later?

The body is deleted so that there is less geometry below it (so it renders faster). Your best best is just modeling the existing clothing into something you like.

sadly the file mode they r using now is fbx that mix all the individual textures in only one, making it more hard to edid the clothes
