Just curious as I don't like pompadours but to each their own though seriously: WHY does Suavecito gel-pomade et so much flack online? Its generally cheaper to buy in bulk from Amazon, has a great nice "cologne scent" and I love it hold not being super scrunch-y. Plus I happen to like its look. So I prefer it over other styling products. No offense or disrespect but I think in the whole scene of Neo Rockabilly & Psychobilly many are _FAR_ too attached to what others buy to put into their hair, styling product wise. No offense or disrespect but I feel many need to lighten the fuck up. So we can't use oil-based pomades or we dislike the scents & flakes of hairspray. Meh, so what? Respectfully chill, cats ;-) Much psycho love!

Yeah its an oil-based pomade I believe, not water-soluble. Honestly I went through a pomade period of a little over four years ago. Honestly the only stuff I regularly buy online on Amazon is a nice gel-pomade called Suavecito that has a great masculine "cologne scent" and a fine hold that isn't super scrunch-y. And yeah maybe its a glorified gel-pomade in a sense but its better then most and the pricing on them being bought in three packs is fine and "a little goes a long way" as well too. Reuzel bring is fine but its also SUPER waxy feeling and after two tries I never wanted to Devil Lock/Dead Elvis as I call it to my hair, again, which is the Psychobilly/Neo Rockabilly style I do to my hair daily after showing. Alas to each their own, though!
