Wavy perm depends on the size of the curling rod. The size is probably somewhere between medium and large (for waves--not curls). Cold wave usually refers to an alkaline perm, and this perm solution in the video is not a cold wave. It is an acid wave.

if too curly, then when you blow dry your hair, run fingers thru same time will help uncurl a little faster to look wavy. hope that helps.

that happened to me too, the woman who cuts my hair is amazing at that, but when she did a perm for me she put the rods all over and fortunately for me, she actually didnt let it set properly and she loosened my hair and the perm didnt even hold. i went ahead and bought some zotos off amazon, as well as rollers and the other things needed, and did it myself at home for about 1/3rd of the price, and it came out exactly how i wanted.
