So how did you turn the cut edge in to a router edge finish
@dresden5060 Жыл бұрын
Those edge details you can actually do by hand without a router tool, if fact most edge details you can except for hilton I would say

Is a 1500 rpm grinder to fast I cannot get the shine do I need a slower speed
@NoName-gk2sj6 жыл бұрын
Yeah put it to speed 1
@scottwillis54344 жыл бұрын
Says to use a low speed grinder polisher, ideally a wet polisher. There are tools made for stone work and different tools made for metal work.

Nice - wish my granite island installer had gone through this process. Mine left all kinds of chips and rough spots on the underside edge. Terrible...
@TrackForField6 жыл бұрын
Dave Kyle most times instalers just instal, while the actual process is done in a shop.

Doesn't need any wax to get that kind of shine? I thought they get that shine because of wax.
@scottwillis54344 жыл бұрын
@@Dan.U. shine is from a very smooth surface.

I go through all the grits but I always end up with pits in the edge surface. Not scratch marks, little pits that don't seem to sand out. Ideas?
@chadfarrow54262 жыл бұрын
Use a grinding rock first then start with the 50 and work your way up
@dresden5060 Жыл бұрын
It comes with experience bro, but spend longer with the lower grits and as the other guy said a grinding rock/block is also good for this especially with a hard granite. Start with a 36 grit then 120, 220, 320 block and then go through the diamond pads from 400 upwards, hope this helps 👍

Hahaha, achieve mirror like shine with minimal skill or effort, say that after polishing black Pearl, absolute black or antique brown.
