Because our front and back is not the same length cos of our bust. Take a tape and tie it around your waist, ask someone to measure your back and front waist length, you will see that it's not the same length. That's is why when someone don't it, their back zip will be folding

Because it's a jumpsuit dear. You don't need to slant and if you didn't add 2.5 or 3 inches to the upper part, it will be short on the crotch area and you won't be able to wear it

No dear, that's is why the upper part of the jumpsuit is not the same length. If you watch the video from start, you will notice the front and back length is not the same. That solves it

It depends on your waist length. Three inches is not supposed to be too much. Loose it and reduce some inches from the top length

Assuming the front waist length is 17.5”,while the back is 17”. While cutting, do you mark 17.5 for the front and 17 for the back?. So the difference for these is 0.5 right? Will the bust dart be 0.5?

Yes but your calculations is wrong, the front and back waist length cannot be 0.5 except you're just citing an example though
